Company Profile Theory Films, Inc. Founded in 2003 by Joel Dunn, Theory Films, Inc. formed from two separate production companies, Pyro Productions and Imega Productions. Dunn had a vision of creating profound, meaningful multi-media projects, from web design to feature films. “I want Theory to focus on content-driven work. I want us to create images and tell stories that help change the world.” Beginning as a lifetime - event videography business, Theory quickly expanded its reach into short form and small screen media. Gaining accolades for their work, the Theory team began working heavily in and around the New York area, yet still operating all around the tri-state region. Bringing together a talented group of student filmmakers and multi- media specialists, Theory strives to develop a high standard of excellence in each project it undertake. Theory Films is a multifaceted company specializing in music videos, commercials, documentaries, short films, and feature projects. Theory Films is constantly engaged in research and development of products, techniques, and the theory behind our craft.  |
